We don’t reward who writes the most code. We reward who directs it best.

Use the agents you want

Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Antigravity, open models, free or paid. Mix vendors. Assign roles. Runtime groups them all in one queue and records which model did what.

Start from a real specification

Each challenge is published as an AURA task with acceptance criteria. You learn specification-driven development from minute one — how the industry that will hire you works.

Judged by the same bar as a professional team

Your delivery is a Pull Request with a verdict: did it meet the spec? is it coherent? quality? secure? You leave with a verified portfolio you can show any employer.

Frequently asked questions

Before you register

No. You need to know how to program in some language and the will to learn directing agents. We send a prep guide one week before, and day one has an opening session on the New Paradigm and how to use Runtime and Spec.

Not required. You can compete with free or low-cost models; Runtime works with any of them. AURA gives each team AI credits for reviews and specs during the event.

Yes. Date and venue — in person or remote — are announced to registrants. Challenges, deliveries, and judging work the same either way because everything goes through GitHub and AURA.

It’s yours. Repositories belong to each team. AURA keeps verdicts and reports so you can use them as a portfolio, plus aggregated anonymous Runtime data for the Hackathon Report (which models performed best in which role). Never your code.
